1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by Loz & Lula, a dog training and care business based in the UK. By booking any service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
Loz & Lula currently offers:
a) Dog Training
Including in-home visits, one-to-one sessions, group classes, puppy socialisation, and behavioural consultations.
b) Pet Sitting & Drop-in Visits
Drop-in Home Visits: Short visits to check in on your pet, provide food, water, comfort breaks, play, or medication.
Daytime Pet Sitting: In-home care while you are out for the day — includes walks, play, feeding, and companionship.
Overnight Pet Sitting: Care provided in your home overnight. This includes evening, overnight, and morning care, keeping to your pet’s routine and ensuring home security.
3. Bookings, Packages, and Payments
a) Dog Training and One-off Training Services
All sessions and services must be paid in advance to confirm your booking.
Package deals or classes must be paid in full upfront and are non-refundable once started.
b) Regular Pet Sitting (weekly retainer bookings)
Weekly retainers secure your agreed days and times and are payable in advance each Friday for the following week.
Your slot is reserved even if not all sessions are used.
A regular care agreement will be confirmed in writing.
c) Drop-in Visits and Multi-Night Drop-Ins (No Overnight Stay)
Drop-in visits are payable in advance each Friday for the following week.
For multi-night block bookings, a 50% deposit is required upfront, with the balance due before or on the first visit.
Drop-in visits are subject to availability and cannot be reserved on a retainer basis.
d) Overnight Pet Sitting
Bookings must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance.
A 50% deposit may be required to confirm the booking, with the balance payable 24 hours before the start.
4. Payments & Cancellations
Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, Cash, PayPal.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session or visit.
Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Deposits for block bookings cancelled more than 7 days before the start date will be refunded minus any administration fees.
Deposits may be retained if cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the booking start date.
We may cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, emergencies, or extreme weather and will notify you as soon as possible.
5. Dog Training (In-Home and Group Sessions)
Training includes home visits, one-to-one sessions, puppy training, or behaviour consultations.
A travel fee may apply based on your location.
Please ensure the space is safe, secure, and free from distractions for the duration of the session.
Puppies who are not yet fully vaccinated may still take part in home visits, as the session takes place in your own home. You are responsible for ensuring the space is low-risk and hygienic, and no interaction with unknown dogs occurs.
Please inform Loz & Lula of any parking, access, or safety concerns in advance.
Multiple dogs from the same household may take part in a single session, but ideally, there should be one handler per dog. Please note that training may be limited, and fewer exercises may be covered when working with multiple dogs at once.
Please arrive on time for in-person sessions and be ready to start promptly at the scheduled time.
Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of a late start.
For group classes, dogs arriving more than 10 minutes late may be asked to observe quietly to avoid disruption.
Children are welcome but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. A maximum of two spectators per dog unless agreed in advance.
Loz & Lula uses force-free, reward-based training grounded in science and kindness.
We understand that owners may arrive using various types of leads or collars. If equipment is not compatible with our methods, we will offer gentle, respectful guidance on alternatives — no judgement.
You’re encouraged to ask questions about training techniques, tools, or behaviour concerns.
6. Pet Sitting and Home Visits
a) Drop-In Home Visits
Typically 10–60 minutes (as agreed).
Includes feeding, toilet breaks, company, basic medication, and welfare checks.
For pets who are comfortable being left between visits.
Visits do not include staying on the premises.
b) Daytime Pet Sitting
In-home care while you’re away for the day (typically up to 6 hours).
Includes walks, feeding, companionship, play, and any agreed care instructions.
Your pet should be comfortable with a calm, friendly dog (Lula) if she accompanies the visit — this will always be agreed with you beforehand.
A meet and greet may be required before your first booking.
c) Overnight Pet Sitting
Overnight stays typically cover a 12-hour period (e.g., 7pm–7am) with feeding, walks, evening and morning care, and plenty of cuddles.
Additional daytime drop-ins can be added if full 24-hour care is needed.
The sitter may be accompanied by Lula, a calm, well-behaved dog used to pet sitting.
Your pet must be comfortable sharing space with another dog. A meet and greet will be arranged to ensure compatibility.
You must provide a clean, safe sleeping space (guest bed, sofa bed, etc.).
House rules, routines, and emergency contact details must be shared in advance.
Only one client household is accepted per overnight stay — no additional guests or pets will be hosted.
7. Visiting Dog – Lula
Lula is the sitter’s own dog and may accompany daytime or overnight bookings when agreed in advance. She is:
Calm, friendly, and fully vaccinated
House-trained and well-socialised
Experienced with home environments and other dogs
Lula will never attend a sit without prior discussion and your consent.
If your dog is not comfortable with others, solo care is available — just let us know.
8. Keys, Parking and Access
Keys provided for access will be stored securely and used only for agreed services.
If using a lockbox, please provide the location and code in advance.
Alarm codes, gate access, and any special instructions must be provided before the first booking.
Please ensure suitable parking is available for the duration of any visit or session. If there are parking restrictions or permits required, kindly provide the necessary permits or information in advance to avoid delays.
9. Health, Behaviour and Safety
Pets must be up to date with vaccinations, flea/tick, and worming treatments unless not yet old enough (e.g., young puppies at home).
Any illness, injury, or behavioural concern must be disclosed prior to the session.
Owners remain responsible for their pet’s behaviour and any damage or injury they cause.
Loz & Lula reserves the right to end a session if a pet’s behaviour presents a safety risk.
10. Weather and Outdoor Sessions
Outdoor training may be rescheduled or moved indoors in cases of extreme weather (e.g. heavy rain, snow, excessive heat).
Your dog’s safety and welfare will always be the priority.
11. Media and Privacy
With your permission, Loz & Lula may take photos or videos during sessions for marketing and educational use (e.g. social media, website).
All personal data is handled in line with UK GDPR. Your data will never be shared without your consent.
12. Dog Boarding (Not Yet Available)
Boarding services will only be offered once Loz & Lula is licensed by the local council.
Once available, these services will be subject to separate agreements and updated terms.
13. Affiliate Links

14. Liability
Loz & Lula accepts no responsibility for loss, injury, illness, or death of a dog unless due to proven negligence.
Owners are advised to have appropriate pet insurance that covers training and care services.
Dog training outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Progress depends on the dog’s temperament, age, health, previous experiences, the consistency and follow-through of the owner, and environmental factors. While the trainer will provide professional guidance and coaching, Loz & Lula cannot be held liable if the desired behaviours are not fully achieved.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the English courts.
